This project strives to create a poetic virtual reality experience. The initial idea came from the book Momo by Michael Ende (1973). The setting is a timeless place beyond life - channelling the theme of time and death.
We reconstructed the poem Immortality (written by Clare Harner in 1934) and recorded each verse line individually. Then we attached each audio file to a flower. Whenever the player plucked a flower, part of the poem would play aloud. That way, the poetic experience became something the player took part in - each time a player changed the order in which they picked the flowers - the poem also changed its sound.
Besides concept development, I modelled/sculpted the masks. I was also part of the construction of the scene in Unity and the build.
